Materials: 1 skein of Bulky #5 yarn
K crochet hook
Appox size small 8 1/2 x 20 large 11 1/2 x 20
Cocoon
ch 56 small (76 large) loosely,
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, 55 (75) sc sl st to beginning chain ( careful not to twist chain)
Row 2: Ch 1 Sc in each stitch around, join with sl st to beginning ch 1
Row 3: Ch 1 Sc in each stitch around, join with sl st to beginning ch 1, continue till cocoon measures at least 20 inches.
Bottom close: Leave a length of yarn appox 12 inches with yarn needle close bottom with star pattern till closed. Secure and fasten off.
Attach yarn with sl st at back seam (sc ch1 dc) around entire top. Join with slip stitch to beginning sl st. Fasten off
